Fascia Signs

Broadwalk Shopping Centre, Bristol

, , , ,

Broadwalk Shopping Centre in Bristol is a long established shopping destination based on the south side of the city and is a centre for the local community also staging events. Signs Now have been supplying all types of signs to Broadwalk for the last 13 years, and during that time we have developed a close working relationship based upon trust, efficiency and the supply of good quality signs. We have undertaken signs not only for the centre itself but for several of the actual shops within.

Over the years, we have produced a whole multitude of signs including simple vinyl graphics, directional signs, health and safety signs, banners, aluminium and acrylic wall signs, large bespoke freestanding and projecting signs as well as fascia signs. Having in-house production capabilities makes the supply of large bespoke signs possible and means we can keep control of larger projects.

When working in and around a shopping centre we need to adhere to safe working practices, providing risk assessments and when required only working when there are no members of the public nearby. We sometimes need to work at height and have trained and qualified fitters capable of doing so. As Tim Maloney the Centre manager says, “I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to Jerry and the crew at Signs Now for all the help and advice over the years during our refurbishments and re-branding work. We have used you for a number of years now and have always received a first class service with a prompt response and fast turnaround”.

Helen Star Nails, Twickenham

, ,

Helen Star Nails in Twickenham had recently been taken over by a young couple. They were keen to keep the name, but wanted to update the look. Originally they had come to Signs Now with a low budget and were looking for basic signs. But owner Kim saw another nail salon and was inspired by the illuminated sign they had and loved how it looked, so we were asked to quote. The fascia that they already had was not safely secured and was overhanging, so we needed to reduce the length and make it safer. Communication was ongoing whilst artwork was approved and at a second meeting Michael sat down with Kim to look at the visuals, which she was pleased with. She had also been sent over some colour samples to look at. The finished sign is a fret cut standard illuminated sign with economical LEDs, which have a 5 year warranty. We used replacement panels for the projecting light box sign to keep costs down.

Harrow Solicitors

, ,

Harrow Solicitors is a new firm and the owner was very clear on his requirements in terms of design. He was pleasantly surprised when he discovered that he could afford highly visible lightbox signs for his budget, including a fascia and projecting sign. This meant that the premises are easily seen from the road, which was the client’s objective.

Charterhouse Voice & Data

Charterhouse Voice and Data in Shoreditch were looking to update existing signs with a modern new look. We installed flat cut letters applied to a deluxe fascia, giving a professional look with a 3D effect

Capital Physio

, ,

Capital Physio is a new and expanding physiotherapy company which wanted modern signage for its centre in Bath. It is one of several centres across South West, Cambridge and Manchester and therefore the brand needed to be consistent. We supplied and installed office prints, projecting hanging signs and fascias.

Brownings Garage

Brownings Garage is located in Angel, Islington and has been established for over 100 years. They were keen to update their signage, whilst still keeping true to their origins, so this was reflected in the design of the deluxe fascia and hanging projecting sign that we installed.

A new pizzeria – Fornetto – opening in Charing Cross Road, Central South West needed new signs to attract the busy footfall. Due to a quick opening day we provided a temporary banner free of charge, which was installed outside the restaurant to allow for us to manufacture the main sign. The installers had to work out of hours due the busy location to fit an LED illuminated fascia and dibond hanging projecting sign.

D&M Tools

D&M Tools in Twickenham’s previous sign was very worn and needed replacing. Complying with planning regulations, we completed 3 new flex face signs: 2 smaller signs either side of a main sign. This would allow them flexibility in the future if logos or suppliers were to change. This was very tricky to install as the sign was 30 metres in width and the store based on a busy high street. Due to the Rugby World Cup we had to make sure this sign was fully installed and safe before the tournament kicked off, being just down the road from Twickenham Stadium!

Herbs & Acupuncture

Both branches of Herbs & Acupuncture in Gloucester and Harrow were located in modern shopping centres and the customer wanted them to be highly visible. Each illuminated fascia sign supplied was a dibond tray with back-lit lettering and logo using low energy LEDs. The customer was thrilled with the result and has continued to use us.
